Stegg is once again entering a team into the County Marathon.

Representing Stegg this year are Bob, Michelle, Dave G., Jackie, and Don. The marathon, scheduled for October 4, 2009, will be divided into 5 legs, the shortest leg consisting of 6K, the longest 11.3K.

Sharon will be running this Boston Qualifier on her own this year.

Any plans to return to Boston next year Sharon?

Stegg members are participating in the 23rd Annual Surf N' Turf Relay Race, June 12. 2009.  The relay is approximately 60KM in length, beginning at 8 Wing Trenton, and stretching into Batawa, Frankford and Trenton, before returning to 8 Wing/CFB Trenton.

The relay will be broken down into the following legs;

9Km Run - Bob Stokes

6 year old Quinley, daughter of Scott Gelsthorpe raised $1270.00 in donations, by having 12 inches of hair cut.  Money raised went to the Cancer Society, and hair went to Angel Hair, the organization that provides wigs for children who have had chemo, radiation treatments, burn accidents, or other medical ailments.
